FROM PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Piaget mentions that, a child is able to discover if he is given opportunities to manipulate material and data. This concept is adopted in many contemporary schools. In Pune the students of A.W.Sindhu vidhya bhavan are taught that the best way of learning "is through practice." In the words of Nobale laureate Prof.Amartyasen "The economics that has been very education oriented. Unfortunately in India education is still a ngelated and under appreciated virtue."
Hence to alleviate poverty of developing countries such as our country it is important to impart basic and rightful education to students of both sexes coming from all strata of the society. Sindhu Vidya Bhavan is a co-education school and special care is taken to bring the students together who are from different finacial and ethnic background under the direction of enthusiatic teachers. Education is imparted in such a manner so that it can shape them into better citizens of tomorrow with more moral and social values. This does not in anywau mean that the students are under performing or are lagging behind in any competitional skills. In fact, students who have walked out from Sindhu Vidya Bhavan with flying colours have become more aware of critical and knowledgeable peiople. We are proud of them knowledgeable people. We are proud of them and also take pride to announce that the strength of our school is 1126 at present.
